What is hemp flower? 

Before telling you about the fabulous dessert recipes that contain hemp flower, it is important to know what it is, hemp flower is a derivative of the cannabis plant, which presents in its components a large amount of CBD, which has proven to be very beneficial to health.

Donuts 

Ingredients

  • 20 gr whole wheat flour
  • 50 gr corn flour
  • 30 gr panela
  • 100 ml oat drink
  • 70 ml olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • Chocolate for melting
  • Topping: nuts, hemp seeds, pistachios, granola and puffed quinoa

Steps

  • First mix the liquid ingredients with the panela, so put the oat drink, the olive oil, the vanilla, and put them in a bowl and beat well. 
  • Now add the dry ingredients, i.e. whole wheat flour, cornflour, and baking powder, mix everything well and place it in a donut pan. 
  • Bake at 180ºC for about 20 minutes. Then let them rest and melt the dark chocolate in the microwave or a bain-marie. 
  • Finally, dip the donuts and add our favorite toppings, including hemp seeds. 

Vanilla Mousse

Ingredients 

  • 400 g soft tofu
  • 200 g white chocolate with vanilla
  • 45 g of oat cream
  • 30 g peeled hemp seeds
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 pinch of salt,

Steps

  • The first step will be to melt the chocolate over a double boiler.
  • Then, in a blender, combine the tofu, oatmeal cream, hemp seeds, maple syrup, and salt and process on high until a fine cream forms.
  • We placed it in a basin and refrigerated it for about 4-6 hours.
  • Meanwhile, melt the cane sugar on a hot skillet over medium heat to make the caramel topping.
  • Reduce the heat to low and whisk in the nuts and salt once it has melted.
  • The liquid is then poured onto a wooden board, allowed to cool, and then cut into pieces.
  • Finally, decorate the vanilla and hemp mousse with the dried fruit caramel, raspberries, lemon zest, and mint leaves.

Cocoa truffles

Ingredients

  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 8-10 chopped dates
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut
  • 1-2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup shelled hemp
  • 1/2 cup oatmeal

Steps 

  • Place the peanut butter, dates, coconut, and cocoa powder in a food processor and process until well combined.
  • Then, in a mixing bowl, blend the hemp seeds and oats until thoroughly blended.
  • Make little balls of the mixture with a spoon, producing truffles of the desired size. Place on waxed paper and keep refrigerated until ready to serve.

Strawberry lollipops with chocolate 

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 cups of chocolate (dark chocolate is best for healthier)
  • ¼ cup CBD oil
  • 15-20 strawberries with stems
  • Straws

Steps:

  • Cut the straws in half and place one in each strawberry's stem.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate and CBD oil together, stirring every 15-20 seconds to avoid burning.
  • Dip the bottom half of each strawberry into the melted chocolate one at a time, letting the excess drip back into the bowl.
  • Place all of the lollipops on a baking sheet and chill for at least 30 minutes before serving, until the chocolate has dried.

Chocolate Energy Bites 

Ingredients: 

  • 1 cup dates 
  • 2 cups raw walnuts 
  • 6 tablespoons cocoa powder 
  • 3 tablespoons hemp flower seeds 
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt 
  • 3 tablespoons almond butter 
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil

Steps:

  • Place the dates and nuts in a food processor and pulse until finely chopped.
  • Then combine the nuts and dates with the cocoa powder, hemp seeds, and sea salt.
  • Finally, combine the almond butter and heated coconut oil in a mixing bowl.
  • Refrigerate the dough for approximately 10 minutes.
  • After this time has passed, use a spoon to form the dough into little balls.
  • Sprinkle more hemp seeds or cocoa powder over the morsels and keep them in the fridge until you are ready to eat them.
