The following menus for April 24-28 for area schools have been submitted by supervisors of food services. Menus are subject to change.
Allen
Lunch
MONDAY: Meatball sliders or turkey pot pie, baked potato or macaroni and cheese, broccoli/ranch dressing, mandarin oranges, blueberries.
TUESDAY: Chicken spaghetti or Cajun chicken pasta, yam patty, creamy coleslaw, fruit cocktail, apple, cowboy cookie or vanilla grahams.
WEDNESDAY: Potato soup with diced ham or cheeseburger soup, carrot sticks with ranch, whole-wheat roll or cheddar cheese crackers, pineapple rings with cherries.
THURSDAY: Jambalaya, vegetarian or pinto beans, mustard greens, grapes, orange.
FRIDAY: Pizza pocket or chicken tacquito, cream-style corn, celery sticks with ranch dressing, pizza crackers, peaches.
Breakfast
MONDAY: Breakfast pizza, apricots, apple.
TUESDAY: Mini biscuits, sausage patty or chicken patty, mandarin oranges, blueberries.
WEDNESDAY: Whole-grain cinnamon and raisin bagel with cream cheese or cheese toast, fruit cocktail, apple.
THURSDAY: Oatmeal or oatmeal muffin square, hash brown, raisins, banana.
FRIDAY: Blueberry waffles with syrup, vanilla graham crackers, grapes, orange.
